nmcn - Level 3 Team Leader/Supervisor Apprenticeship

Introduction

Stewart Adams is a Design Engineer and he recently completed our Level 3 Team Leader/Supervisor Apprenticeship Programme that we delivered in partnership with nmcn. This programme was custom made to fit the requirements of our nmcn clients. The apprenticeship programme was created to allow managers the opportunity to work on the business as well as in the business.

Impact

Before attending the programme, Stewart wanted to achieve his long term goal of achieving a management role within nmcn. In order to achieve this goal Stewart and his line manager agreed that Aspire's Level 3 Team Leader Apprenticeship was the right choice in order to improve his skills and reach his end goal. He says, "I was hoping to learn some tools and techniques that I could use in the workplace to help me better lead design teams. The programme exceeded my expectations and gave me confidence in areas where I was lacking. This includes; chairing meetings, delivering information and building relationships."

Stewart goes on to explain further development he has seen in himself, having completed our apprenticeship programme. He continues, "I can now use my knowledge of leadership and motivation models to get more from my colleagues. I can also use the coaching techniques to help develop individuals within my team. All of these models have helped me achieve a high performing team and this is very important in our industry."

We are proud to announce that Stewart has passed his apprenticeship with a Distinction! This is a fantastic achievement and we want to wish Stewart all the best in his continued personal development.

"The programme exceeded my expectations and gave me confidence in areas where I was lacking. This includes; chairing meetings, delivering information and building relationships."
