<strong>Core </strong>- this is about developing enhancements to what you already offer your existing customers, building on what they already know and trust about you.<br />
<strong>Adjacent</strong> &#8211; this is about growing your customer base by moving into adjacent markets and/or offering expansions to your core product range.<br />
<strong>Transformational</strong> &#8211; this is where you develop breakthroughs in your product range and offer them to new markets, to meet the needs of new customers.<br />
On average, high performing firms direct 70% of their innovation resources to enhancements of core offerings, 20% to adjacent opportunities, and 10% to transformational initiatives.<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) and Management Today magazine have just published the 2011 Leadership Trust Index.</p>
<p>The good news is that trust in CEO’s is increasing, and that trust in Line Managers has remained static.  Leaders in the Private and Third Sectors are more trusted by their staff than leaders in the Public Sector.  However, there is no room for complacency as one third of staff do not trust their leaders.</p>
<p>So what do staff take into account when considering whether they trust their leaders?</p>
<ul>

<li>ability</li>
<li>consistency</li>
<li>fairness</li>
<li>openness</li>
<li>integrity</li>
</ul>
